This is the Camp Indian Head project I started in 2002. I will continually add pictures of campers,
counselors and activities from the many years of this great summer place for
kids (and counselors!) My brother, Fred, and I helped Papa Joe and others to clear this land in 1960 that would become CIH; I was a junior counselor in 1963, nature counselor
in 1972 and was Assistant Director in 1981. Most years between 1972 and
1981 I was visiting CIH at night assisting in any way I could and socializing
with the counselors. I've stayed in touch with Papa Joe all these many
years. By the way, Joe was my 7th grade Geography teacher at Adams Jr.
High in Tampa. This is a place where former campers and counselors can come and leave messages, so that they may find eachother.
